Teen with autism missing in Columbia found safe

UPDATE 2/16: Family members tell us Brice Key has been found safe. They say he’s getting checked out at the hospital as a precaution.

Key apparently was found on Bethel. Police say he returned uninjured.

ORIGINAL: A Columbia family is searching for a missing teen.

They said Brice Lewis Key, 15, went missing just before 1 p.m. Wednesday from Quest Alternative School on Bethel Street. He was last seen in the Southampton area.

Key’s family said due to his autism and ADHD, he operates at a 7-year-old’s level.

He was last seen wearing red fleece, blue jeans and blue and lime green Nike tennis shoes.
