Tuesday, February 14 Afternoon Weather
TODAY: After morning clouds, we will have increasing sun with temperatures in the low 50s and a northwesterly breeze up to 12 mph. Where clouds may hold for much of the day south, highs may be slightly cooler near 50 across the Ozarks today.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies overnight, with north winds under 11 mph. Temperatures look to be near 50 still at 5PM falling to near 28 by 5AM Wednesday morning.
EXTENDED: A wind chill returns by Wednesday morning, feeling like the low 20s for the morning commute tomorrow. It will be mostly sunny, but colder Wednesday with high temperatures in the upper 40s. Winds switch to the south by Thursday, boosting temperatures into the lower 60s but it will be breezy with southerly winds up to 20 mph. We will stay in a mild weather pattern through early next week with highs in the 60s and nights in the 40s. We’ll need to monitor the potential for critical fire weather again this week starting Thursday. The next chance for rain looks possible next Monday night.
