Three injured in early-morning crash in Jefferson City
Police say alcohol played a factor into an early-morning crash on Sunday in Jefferson City that injured three people.
Jefferson City police dispatched to the crash scene said a 2002 Ford Explorer was westbound on Highway 94 approaching the ramp to northbound Highway 54. The driver lost control and the SUV began to skid sideways onto the ramp and then went off the left side of the ramp.
The Explorer overturned as it went down a ravine.
Three people were taken to the hospital. The driver was not among the injured.
ABC 17 News followed up with Jefferson City Police and the department confirms the driver was arrested.
