No one injured after fire on Senate Court in Jefferson City
An apartment building fire in Jefferson City caused more than $75,000 worth of damages Friday afternoon.
The fire started around 4 p.m.in the 500 block of Senate Court. People said they could see flames from Castle Drive.
When the Jefferson City Fire Department arrived at the scene, they saw the fire on a deck, stretching to the siding and inside of the building.
Damage was limited to the third floor apartment. The resident was at home at the time of the fire, but was not injured.
A total of 17 firefighters with six fire apparatus were at the scene during the fire.
