Two men are jailed after search of Fulton hotel room
On Tuesday night, the Fulton police and the MUSTANG drug task force issued a narcotics search warrant for the Baymont Inn and Suites.
Officers say when they got inside the room, they found Jeffrey Lage and Andrew Rotter.
Officers also say when they searched the room they found drugs, paraphernalia and a firearm.
Officers arrested Lage was arrested for one count of distribution of a controlled substance, possession of a weapon by a felon, and possession of paraphernalia.
Officers arrested Rotter for two counts of distribution of a controlled substance, possessing a weapon as a felon, possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.
Rotter also had three active warrants out for his arrest.
ABC17 has reported on Rotter back in November when he was the passenger of a car involved in a car chase in Kingdom City.
When the car eventually stopped, Rotter got out and ran, but authorities eventually found and arrested him.
ABC17 looked at Rotter’s three active warrants and found Rotter was sentenced to seven years for second-degree robbery and for having drugs back in 2014.
ABC17 has contacted the spokesperson for the Department of Corrections to see when he was released and when he was listed as an absconder.
They have not yet replied.
Rotter and Lage are not yet officiallycharged in connection with Tuesday’s search warrant, but ABC17 will be checking for those charges throughout the day.
