Man injured after driving into building
A man was injured after he drove into a building in Jefferson City Tuesday evening.
The Jefferson City Police Department said 31-year-old Sergio Sayles was working on the brakes of a car and test driving it when he crashed into the building in the 700 block of Monroe Street.
The collision caused significant structural damage to the building. Two cars parked nearby were hit with falling debris.
Sayles was taken to a local hospital to be treated for moderate injuries.
