Tuesday February 7 Morning Weather
TODAY: Storms are possible through 6AM this morning. Some of the stronger storms will be capable of producing large hail 1″ in diameter or greater and winds of 58 mph or greater. Scattered showers in southeast Mid-Missouri moves out by 7 AM east of HWY 63. Temperatures will fall to the low 50s this morning, and warm to 60 in the afternoon with increasing sun. Winds will become westerly, gusting from 20-25 mph during the day.
TONIGHT: It looks mild for the evening commute with temperatures in the low 50s. Colder air moves in tonight with winds becoming northerly under 10 mph. A wind chill returns tonight, falling to the low 20s by daybreak Wednesday morning with air temperatures near 30-32.
EXTENDED: It will be much colder Wednesday, 20-25 degrees colder bringing a chance for light snow on Wednesday morning. Most areas will be dry, however near HWY 24 and north a dusting is looking possible from 7AM-11AM. A dusting is possible but will melt quickly as temperatures climb above freezing Wednesday. Thursday looks cold and dry with partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 30s. Warmer weather moves in starting Friday with high temperatures climbing into the 50s, warming to near 60 Saturday.
