Saturday morning, February 4

TODAY: Saturday’s conditions are going to remain on the cooler side with morning temperatures in the lower 20s. Make sure to bundle up if you are headed out as wind chills will be in the upper teens and lower 20s throughout the morning. Conditions will remain dry and sunny for today with the high reaching into the lower 40s. By the afternoon, winds are expected to pick up around 8-17 mph out of the south with gusts near 25 mph. By tonight, temperature will be slightly warmer in the upper 30s under partly cloudy skies.

SUNDAY: The end of our weekend is looking even more promising with the high temperature reaching into the lower to mid 50s under bright and sunny skies. Winds will also be taking a break with variable winds around 6 mph. Temperatures by the evening will only dip to the upper 30s.

EXTENDED: The warming trend continues into Monday with temperatures climbing into the upper 50s. Along with this warm up comes another chance of rain. There is a slight rain chance for those near the Lake of the Ozarks by mid-morning. Showers will lift north during the day and becoming widely scattered. A few rumbles of thunder will be possible by evening. Temperatures will warm to near 60 degrees Tuesday. A strong cold front moves through Tuesday afternoon sending colder air into the region. There is a slight chance of snow Tuesday evening as the cold air moves in. High temperatures only reach the mid 30s Wednesday with another slight snow chance Wednesday night into Thursday.
