Mainly Dry Weekend

The rain chance has been removed for the upcoming weekend. We’ll see passing clouds during the day Saturday. It will start off cold on Saturday morning in the upper 20s with a wind chill near 12 by daybreak. It will be cold for the Runnin’ Against MS 5K at Lake Stephens Park on Saturday morning at 10AM. Temperatures will be in the upper 20s at this time, with a wind chill near 20 for the start of the run. A south breeze during the afternoon on Saturday will help temperatures warm to the low 40s during the day. Winds could gust to 25-26 through early evening on Saturday.

Saturday night a south wind stays with us keeping Saturday night’s lows well above normal in the mid 30s. Sunday won’t be as frigid with a wind chill in the upper 20s/low 30s to start the day. Temperatures will warm 10 to 15 degrees above normal in the low to mid 50s on Sunday afternoon under a mostly sunny sky. Sunday looks to be superb for walking/running this weekend!
