Thursday February 2 Morning Weather
TODAY: It will be a cold morning with a wind chill ranging from 14-20 through 11AM with a north wind near 10 mph. Expect a partly cloudy sky and a typical winter day with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 30s.
TONIGHT: Clouds look to increase overnight with northerly winds under 6 mph. A wind chill for the evening commute looks to be in the mid 20s, dropping to the mid teens again early Friday.
EXTENDED: Friday continues to be cold with a northeast wind and a wind chill near 15-19 again early Friday morning. High temperatures will reach the mid to upper 30s under mostly cloudy skies. During the day Saturday, much of the area looks to be dry with high temperatures in the upper 30s north to the lower 40s south of I-70. By late afternoon a few rain showers are possible but will be very light and spotty and mainly north of I-70. Any rain that does develop, moves out by midnight Saturday. Temperatures will warm to near 50 on Sunday with clouds decreasing during the day. Our next chance of rain moves in Monday with a few rumbles of thunder possible by evening.
