Wednesday February 1 Morning Weather
TODAY: Temperatures will be slightly cooler this morning in the mid 30s for the morning commute with a northerly wind of 5-10 mph under an overcast sky. Clouds look to thin through the afternoon and early evening. Temperatures will be 5 degrees above average in the mid 40s this afternoon.
TONIGHT: A north wind continues tonight with a partly cloudy sky. Temperatures will fall to the 20s by 11PM-12AM, and low 20s by early Thursday morning.
EXTENDED: A wind chill of 15-19 is likely by morning on Thursday. High temperatures tomorrow will only reach the mid 30s under a partly cloudy sky. Friday looks to be even colder with a northeast wind and a wind chill near 15-19 again early Friday morning. During the day Saturday, much of the area looks to be dry. By evening west of US 63 rain and drizzle is expected. Less than .20″ is likely for most areas. There is a slight chance for some of the rain to refreeze overnight into Sunday morning as the air temperature falls to 30-32 in spots. Any rain looks to end before daybreak on Sunday, but we’ll want to watch for slick areas. Temperatures will warm to near 50 on Sunday with clouds decreasing during the day.
