Wednesday Evening, February 1

TONIGHT: A north wind continues tonight with a partly cloudy sky. Temperatures will fall to the low to mid 20s by early Thursday morning. Wind chill values through the night into the morning will be in the mid to upper teens across a good portion of the region, as winds will be out of the north under 10 mph.

THURSDAY: Expect a typical winter day Thursday with mostly cloudy skies and a cold afternoon as high temperatures reach the mid to upper 30s. We’ll have a northerly breeze up to 10 mph.

EXTENDED: Friday continues to be cold with a northeast wind and a wind chill near 15-19 again early Friday morning. High temperatures will reach the mid to upper 30s under mostly cloudy skies. During the day Saturday, much of the area looks to be dry with high temperatures in the upper 30s north to the lower 40s south of I-70. By late afternoon a few rain showers are possible but will be very light and spotty. Rain moves out by midnight Saturday.Temperatures will warm to near 50 on Sunday with clouds decreasing during the day. Our next chance of rain moves in Monday with a few rumbles of thunder possible by evening. High temperatures will reach the lower 50s to start the work week.
