No one injured after vehicle goes through Columbia Podiatry

On Wednesday at 10:29 AM, the Columbia Fire Department was dispatched to 305 Keene St., also known as Columbia Podiatry, for a vehicle that went into a building.

According to an official press release from the Columbia Fire Department, fire crews arrived in less than seven minutes and found a passenger vehicle that had crashed through two sets of glass doors, and was completely inside the structure.

Fire crews found two adult subjects inside the vehicle. The subjects were able to exit the vehicle after firefighters removed some debris. The subjects were evaluated by a Boone Hospital Ambulance crew, but refused transport to the hospital. No one inside the building was injured.

The Columbia Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash. A City of Columbia building inspector was on the scene and evaluating the damage done to the structure. We will continue to update this story as we learn more.
