Man convicted in Maries County murders executed
The man convicted of killing two children and their mother was executed Tuesday night.
A Department of Corrections spokesman says Mark Christeson was pronounced dead at 7:05 p.m. after the lethal injection.
He was sentenced to death for the 1998 killings of 36-year-old Susan Brouk and her two children in Vichy.
Christeson’s execution marks Missouri’s first execution since May. Neither the U.S. Supreme Court nor Gov. Eric Greitens intervened.
