Tuesday, January 31 Evening Weather

TONIGHT: Clouds look to be on the increase with winds becoming northerly overnight. A weak disturbance will pass overhead and likely allow for some drizzle in isolated areas north of 70 through early evening. Winds through the evening, will be under 10 mph, with temperatures falling near freezing by morning. Wind chill values are likely in the mid to upper 20s.

WEDNESDAY: After a chilly start to the day, temperatures will gradually warm to near seasonal levels by afternoon. A high in the low to mid 40s will occur, with wind chill values in the upper 30s. Winds through the day will be out of the north under 11 mph, with partly cloudy skies expected.

EXTENDED: Temperatures cool more for Wednesday with high temperatures in the low 40s, dropping to the mid 30s Thursday and Friday as colder air settles in. A storm system passing to our south this weekend will bring a chance of a wintry mix. Rain is expected to develop Saturday afternoon and evening in the Ozarks and spread north overnight, changing to snow and possible freezing drizzle, north of I-70 and ending early Sunday. Temperatures are expected to reach the low 40s on Saturday and Sunday. We will be tracking this throughout the week giving you the latest details as we get new information.
