Fugitive search warrant nets three arrests in mid-Missouri
Three people were arrested Tuesday in Callaway County when deputies executed a fugitive search warrant for a man.
According to the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office, David C. Atterberry, 49, of Williamsburg, was sought on felony charges out of Montgomery County, Missouri.
Deputies obtained a search warrant after they believed Atterberry was hiding out at a home in the 9100 block of County Road 183 in Williamsburg.
The Sheriff’s Office said it found Atterberry shortly before 10:30 a.m. inside the home. Atterberry was arrested on a Montgomery County warrant on suspicion of stealing, first-degree property damage, and trespassing.
Deputies acquired a second warrant for narcotics around 11:46 a.m. for the same home after they said they found narcotics during the first search.
The second search resulted in deputies finding prescription pills and methamphetamine drug-related paraphernalia.
Atterberry and Kimberly Frazier, 49, of Williamsburg, were arrested on suspicion for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and felony possession of a controlled substance.
William Atterberry, 25, of Mexico, Missouri, was arrested for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
At last check, formal charges haven’t been filed against any of the three suspects.
The Sheriff’s Office told ABC 17 News its investigation in ongoing and more charges or arrests could occur.
