Woman found passed out in vehicle, arrested for DWI and resisting arrest

Columbia police officers found Anna West passed out behind the wheel of her vehicle at 3100 W. Broadway. Officers noticed both passenger side tires of her vehicle were slashed and damaged, and her passenger side mirror was hanging off of her vehicle.

Officers attempted to wake West for several minutes, and they could smell a strong odor of alcohol. West woke up and she started walking to a patrol car, pulling her arms away from the officers. During West’s arrest, she kicked an officer in the inner thigh.

West was arrested for resisting or interfering with an arrest, fourth degree assault, operating a motor vehicle while suspended/revoked and a warrant for driving while intoxicated.
