Monday Morning, January 30
TODAY: Waking up this morning to some chilly conditions across Mid-Missouri. All locations are in the upper 20s and lower 30s, under mostly clear conditions. We’ll see plenty of sun through the morning into the afternoon hours, that will allow us to warm into the mid 50s with no problem. Winds will once again be breezy as we head into the afternoon hours. Winds will be out of the southwest under 20 mph. Through late evening, a cold front will track through Mid-Missouri, but no precipitation is expected.
TONIGHT: Winds will remain up through the evening, keeping temperatures from falling too far. Lows in the mid 30s will occur under mostly clear skies, but wind chill values will be in the 20s through the entire evening.
EXTENDED: We continue to trend warm into Tuesday as high temperatures linger near the upper 40s. On the back side of the cold front, temperatures will continue to fall each day, with seasonal averages by Wednesday and Thursday. This weekend shows the chance for a system involving potential wintery conditions moving into the area. We will be tracking this throughout the week giving you the latest details as we get new information. For additional weather updates follow @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter.
