TODAY: The chance for flurries will continue throughout the morning. As temperatures climb above freezing by late morning, any precipitation will be spotty drizzle. Conditions are expected to dry up by mid-afternoon under mostly cloudy skies. The high will reach into the lower 40s by this afternoon with breezy conditions continuing. Winds will be around 9-15 mph out of the northwest with gusts near 25 mph. Luckily, these winds will start to relax by the evening hours with temperatures dipping into the lower 30s.

MONDAY: The start of our work week is showing promising conditions. Temperatures will be well above the seasonal average as the high reaches to the lower 50s under mostly sunny skies. By Monday evening, temperatures will remain unseasonably warm in the lower 40s under mostly clear skies.

EXTENDED: We continue to trend warm into Tuesday as high temperatures linger near the upper 40s. Sunnier conditions will remain to grace us across Mid-Missouri for the last few days of January and the first couple days of February. Temperatures will start dipping to seasonal averages by Wednesday and Thursday. Next weekend shows the chance for a system involving potential wintery conditions moving into the area. We will be tracking this throughout the week giving you the latest details as we get new information. For additional weather updates follow @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter.
