Tuesday Afternoon, January 24

TODAY: It will be windy and mild with high temperatures in the mid 50s north of I-70 to near 60 south with partly cloudy skies. South winds of 15-20 mph will gust up to 30-35 mph at times. There is a slight chance of showers north of I-70 after 5 PM. Any showers will be light with under a tenth inch of rain.

TONIGHT: It looks to be partly cloudy overnight with temperatures in the upper 30s. The breeze stays with us overnight becoming westerly by midnight sustained near 10-13 mph, with gusts up to 20+.

EXTENDED: Colder air moves in Wednesday as a cold front moves through, keeping our high temperatures in the low to mid 40s. Northwesterly winds of 15-20 mph will gust as high as 30 mph at times. Clouds increase on Wednesday, with a slight chance for rain and snow mainly north of I-70 in the afternoon and early evening from 1PM-8PM. Snow accumulation is not expected. Snow flurries or sprinkles are possible farther south in the afternoon through early evening as temperatures fall into the 30s. Temperatures will fall into the 20s Wednesday night. The end of the work week into the weekend looks more seasonal with high temperatures in the mid to upper 30s and nights in the low to mid 20s and dry.
