Police arrest man accused of shooting another man during cell phone sale
UPDATE 8:30am: Columbia police confirm Karl Henson was arrested in connection with Monday’s shooting on Riva Ridge Court.
Police say an investigation revealed Henson arranged to meet the male victim there to potentially sell his cellular phone.
Police say the male victim took off running with Henson’s cellular phone without paying for it.
They say Henson then started chasing the male victim around a duplex and fired several rounds at the victim.
Officers say the victim took his vehicle to a local hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
Officers say they found Henson’s handgun in his vehicle and two shell casings on the side of a duplex.
