Monday evening, January 23

TONIGHT: Skies will break up to partly cloudy skies with low temperatures falling into the low to mid 30s. Winds will shift to the southeast and will stay light, under 5 mph.

TUESDAY: It will be windy and mild with high temperatures in the mid 50s north of I-70 to near 60 south with partly cloudy skies. South winds of 15-20 mph will gust up to 30 mph at times. There is a slight chance of showers north of I-70 after 5 PM. Any showers will be light with under a tenth inch of rain.

EXTENDED: Colder air moves in Wednesday as a cold front moves through, keeping our high temperatures in the low to mid 40s. Northwesterly winds of 15-20 mph will gust as high as 30 mph at times. Light rain is possible from mid-morning through early afternoon mainly north of HWY 24 with snow mixing in. No snow accumulation is expected. Snow flurries or sprinkles are possible farther south in the afternoon through early evening as temperatures fall into the 30s. Temperatures will fall into the 20s Wednesday night. The end of the work week into the weekend looks more seasonal with high temperatures in the mid to upper 30s and nights in the low to mid 20s and dry.
