Saturday evening, January 21

TONIGHT: A chance of rain showers moves into mid-Missouri from the southwest after 7 PM and continues overnight. Any rain which develops will be spotty and light. Temperatures are sticking in the 40s, with an overnight low of 41 degrees. There will be a slight northerly breeze at 5-7 mph.

SUNDAY: Temperatures will drop to near 40 degrees by Sunday morning. Showers are possible Sunday morning through the early afternoon, staying mainly south of US 54 as a storm system passes to our south. Accumulation through Sunday morning has the potential to reach near 1/4″ for areas along and east of US 54. It won’t be as warm with high temperatures closer to 50 degrees due to the mostly cloudy conditions. By the evening, temperatures will drop to the upper 30s.

EXTENDED: Monday holds slightly cooler, but still unseasonably warm temperatures in the mid to upper 40s under much needed mostly sunny skies. We’ll start warming up again next Tuesday ahead of another storm system with only a slight rain chance before a colder weather pattern settles in for the end of next week.
