Friday evening, January 20
TONIGHT: Areas of dense fog will develop under mostly clear skies. Lows will be mild, only dropping into the low to mid 40s with southerly winds up to 9 mph.
SATURDAY: We’ll finally see some sunshine but clouds will increase in the afternoon and evening. High temperatures will reach near 60 north of I-70 and into the mid 60s south. There is a chance of rain showers after 7 PM and overnight. Any rain which develops will be spotty and light.
EXTENDED: Saturday night will be mild with partly to mostly cloudy skies with a chance of showers. Lows will drop to near 40 by Sunday morning. Showers are possible Sunday morning through early afternoon mainly south of HWY 54 as a storm system passes to our south. It won’t be as warm with high temperatures closer to 50 degrees Sunday, dropping to the mid 30s Sunday night. We’ll start warming up again next Tuesday ahead of another storm system with only a slight rain chance before a colder weather pattern settles in for the end of next week.
