Thursday Evening, January 19

***Dense Fog Advisory from 7 PM Thursday – 8 AM Friday****

TONIGHT: Overcast skies will once again be a factor for the evening hours, with southerly winds under 7 mph keeping temperatures from falling too far. Dense fog will develop through the evening, with a low in the low to mid 40s possible by morning. Areas of patchy drizzle is likely as we head into the overnight hours, but otherwise it will remain dry.

FRIDAY: After some patchy drizzle and dense fog to start the day, temperatures will be on the increase. While cloudy skies are still expected through the day on Friday, there will be a few breaks in the clouds, but don’t expect much. Highs will top out in the mid 50s, with winds under 11 mph out of the southeast.

EXTENDED: Friday through much of Saturday looks dry before rain increases on Sunday. A warm front lifts again by Friday evening bringing a chance for scattered showers mainly north of I-70 from 6PM-11PM. These will be hit and miss. Rain increases for Sunday starting up in the morning, possibly bringing moderate to heavy rain on Sunday afternoon and evening, but this looks to be in southern Mid-Missouri. From I-70 and south less than 0.20″ is expected. Closer to the Lake of the Ozarks and I-44, 0.10″ to 0.40″ looks possible at this time. Conditions of course will change, so check back with @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter for additional updates.
