Three schools went on lockdown after man was seen carrying BB gun
Three schools in north Columbia were on modified lockdown around the same time as the Nelwood Drive shots fired.
A man carrying a BB gun was stopped by police while he was walking by Northland and Blue Ridge Road. The man was not arrested because he wasn’t threatening anyone.
The staff at Derby Ridge Elementary, Lange Middle School and the Center for Early Learning North were alerted.
