‘Right to Work’ moves forward in Missouri House
The Missouri House of Representatives perfected HB 91 Wednesday, a bill nicknamed “Right to Work,” after three and a half hours of debate.
Republicans are optimistic that the bill will pass through the House Thursday and be sent to the Senate floor by the end of the week.
“This is something that we have the numbers to pass,” said Rep. Holly Rehder, R-Sikeston. “Our districts sent us up here to make these tough decisions and Missouri overwhelmingly voted for a governor who campaigned on ‘Right to Work.'”
If passed, the bill would add Missouri to the 17 other states that have adopted such labor policies.
