Tuesday Evening, January 17

TONIGHT: A chilly night expected for Mid-Missouri, as the temperature drops below 32 degrees. Clouds will be slow to thin, but where they do patchy freezing fog is likely to develop. Greatest potential exists west of the Hwy 63 corridor.

WEDNESDAY: Any patchy morning fog will be slow to lift, but should do so as we head through 10-11 a.m.. Another above average day expected, as high stop out in the upper 40s and lower 50s. Winds will be out of the southwest under 10 mph. A dry day expected, but rainfall chances will increase through the week.

EXTENDED: The rain chance returns on Thursday as clouds increase again. A few rumbles of thunder look possible during the day Thursday and possibly into Friday. Over the weekend, Saturday looks to be the dry and milder day as highs reach the low 60s. Rain increases for Sunday starting up in the morning, possibly bringing moderate to heavy rain on Sunday afternoon and evening. Winter weather is not expected this week and into the weekend.
