Blue Springs man charged after crash in Boone County
A Blue Springs man was arrested following an early Monday morning crash on I-70.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 29 year-old Delante Hamilton was eastbound at the 119 mile marker just before 1:00 a.m. Monday morning when he attempted to overtake and pass another car, lost control, and traveled off the left side of the road hitting the median cables. Hamilton’s car then went into the westbound side before traveling back off the road into the median.
Hamilton sustained minor injuries, and was arrested for driving while intoxicated and failure to stay to the right. He was transported to the Boone County Jail.
