*An Ice Storm Warning still in effect for all of Mid-Missouri through today*

TODAY: Freezing rain is ongoing along and south of I-70, where a glaze in Columbia, up to three tenths of an inch has fall in the lake area. This freezing rain will be ongoing through the morning hours and gradually lift northward through the day. As we head through the day today, the freezing line will gradually track northward transitioning all freezing rain into rain. When all is said and done an additional tenth to two tenths of an inch of ice is possible until the transition to all rain takes place through the day. Areas south of Hwy 50, will see the transition to rain first and ending their freezing rain by late morning. Winds will be out of the east under 10 mph, with highs in the mid to upper 30s. Areas north of Hwy 24, will likely not climb above freezing at all, exposing that area to more ice accumulation.

TONIGHT: Scattered showers possible this evening, with a small chance of freezing rain north of the Highway 24 corridor. Rainfall amounts through the night will remain light, with the greatest rainfall coming Monday. Patchy to dense fog is possible overnight under overcast skies, with winds out of the east under 10 mph.

EXTENDED: Temperatures will climb through the night Sunday and into Monday, where highs will be situated in the 50s. Light to moderate rainfall expected with a few rumbles of thunder through the day. Rainfall accumulation expected to be near .75″. Rain ends by early Monday evening. This week looks mild with high temperatures in the 40s Tuesday, climbing into the upper 50s and lowers 60s by Friday under partly sunny skies.
