After a weekend of ice, a week of mild temperatures lies ahead

After a long weekend with several rounds of ice, it may be a relief that there are mild temperatures in store for the rest of this week. Temperatures range from the upper 40s to the lower 60s by the end of the work week.

Monday, the rain chance will last throughout the entire day, with possible thunderstorms as well. This time, temperatures will be way above the freezing mark with a high of 53 degrees. Into Monday night, a cold front will be passing through mid-Missouri allowing for temperatures to drop slightly for the next two days. Tuesday and Wednesday we will see daytime highs in the upper 40s– still above average!

After Wednesday, winds will shift back out of the south, creating a warming trend for the remainder of the work week. We can expect temperatures to begin to rise through Friday with temperatures even climbing into the 60s.
