Jefferson City murder suspect due in court Wednesday

A suspect in a Jefferson City double homicide is set to appear in court Wednesday.

Brandon Rapier is charged with two counts of first degree murder. He’s accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend and another man to death in November on Grant Street.

Court documents revealed Rapier posted to Facebook nearly 12 hours before the stabbing happened.

One post stated: “I will have it no other way. I am judge, jury, and my favorite, executioner.”

Rapier is scheduled to be arraigned in Cole County court Wednesday morning.
