Monday Evening, January 9
TONIGHT: A chance for drizzle returns tonight and early Tuesday morning. South winds at 15 mph will gust to 20 mph at times, keeping our temperatures mild, rising through the 40s overnight.
TUESDAY: After a chance of morning drizzle, skies will stay mostly cloudy and it will be breezy and mild with high temperatures reaching the mid to upper 50s with west to southwesterly winds at 10-15 mph.
EXTENDED: Temperatures will continue to be unseasonably warm, reaching near 60 Wednesday. Another cold front will bring a chance for rain on Wednesday night and Thursday morning mainly to those north of I-70 where 0.25″ is possible. As colder air moves in, temperatures will fall from the 50s in the early morning Thursday to the 30s by evening. It will be much colder Friday, staying below freezing with a chance of light snow changing to a wintry mix by evening. Sleet and freezing rain is possible through Saturday with a wintry mix and rain possible Sunday.
