Former bus driver accused of having sex with teens

A former mid-Missouri school bus driver had another court date Tuesday for underage sex charges.

A case review was scheduled for Joel Stoner, 38, at 9 a.m. He is charged with second-degree statutory rape, second-degree child molestation and two counts of second-degree sodomy.

Stoner was first arrested in mid-December. At that point, his cash-only bond was set at $500,000, with the condition he wear a GPS tracking device.

Officials claim Stoner was in a relationship with a 15 year-old girl, who then introduced him to another 14 year-old. They claim it happened over a year ago between October and November 2015.

Stoner was apparently fired from the Climax Springs district in Camden County for unrelated reasons.
