Murder trial moved to Callaway County

A Monroe County murder trial will now take place in Callaway County.

Last week, Jason Lage pleaded not guilty to the charges in court and requested a change of venue. The motion was approved Friday.

Lage is accused of killing Zachary Dawson at a home in Madison back in 2014.

The trial was originally scheduled for October, but will now be rescheduled due to the change of venue.
