Scene clear after fire off State Road AA in Callaway County
An afternoon fire destroyed three to four acres of land in Callaway County Friday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the scene around 1:00 p.m. off State Road AA near Holts Summit.
They said they spoke with people in the area who claim they were not burning anything at the time the blaze began.
The fire was under control within 30 minutes, but crews stayed to check for hot spots.
The scene was cleared by 4:05 p.m.
