Missouri gains 39 new Troopers

The 103rd Recruit Class of the Missouri State Highway Patrol graduated Friday morning in Jefferson City.

The Patrol commissioned 39 new Troopers who will report for duty in their assigned troops January 17, 2017.

Governor Jay Nixon gave the keynote address for the ceremony, and the new Troopers also heard from Colonel J. Bret Johnson and Missouri Public Safety Director Lane Roberts. 12 of the new Troopers were conferred an Associate of Applied Science degree from Mineral Area College.
