Woman identified in fatal Worley crash
UPDATE 9:57 a.m: Officials tell our crews, one trooper attempted to pull over a driver by the name of Karin Kespohl, 51, after she was stopped on an exit ramp on Stadium. She was obstructing traffic.
She stopped again on Stadium and Worley, causing traffic hazards. Troopers once again tried to pull her over.
Kespohl proceeded to speed off from troopers going west on Worley. Troopers lost sight of her.
When troopers discovered the crash, they noticed her car was overturned.
A utility box was hit.
A parked truck sitting in a driveway was also hit, overturned, and then hit a garage.
Kespohl was not wearing a seatbelt.
ABC 17 has looked at Kespohl’s criminal history, and found she has been a frequent offender of the law.
Troopers are still investigating if drugs or alcohol were in her system at the time of the crash.
UPDATE: The section of Worley is cleared and troopers will be releasing more information at noon.
Police tell our crews on scene a crash happened on Worley near the Park De Ville Place around 1:30 Thursday morning.
They tell us the driver hit at least a car and a utility box.
The parked car the woman hit, hit a garage causing some structural damage.
At least one woman has died.
A section of Worley has been closed by Park De Ville Place.
The investigation is ongoing.
