Light Rain Possible New Year’s Weekend
Light rain is possible over New Year’s weekend, but it won’t cause issues for your New Year’s Eve plans. From 9AM-2PM rain looks possible for those near HWY 54 and east with the passing of a cold front. Most areas will see passing clouds, and those that do see rain will range from .01 to .07″ closer to I-44.
Sunday’s rain chance is looking less and less impressive. There is a small rain chance for those south of I-70 on New Year’s day in the morning. Due to an abundant dry air at low levels at this time, confidence is low that anything will hit the ground in the morning.
