Crash on I-70 sends 4 people to the hospital
Four people, including three children, were taken to the hospital after a rollover crash on I-70 in Boone County Sunday afternoon.
It happened on I-70 east near the Rocheport exit.
Troopers said the car went off the road and flipped several times. According to the crash report, two people were ejected from the car.
The adult driver and three children ranging from ages 10 to 12 were taken to the hospital with moderate to serious injuries.
One lane of the interstate was shut down while emergency responders cleared the scene.
This is the second crash troopers have responded to in mid-Missouri since the holiday counting period started on Friday at 6 p.m.
