Fatal crash in Chariton County
A woman died after her car ran off the road, Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers said.
According to the crash report, Brooke Summers was driving north on Highway 5 near Marceline late Friday night.
The investigation showed Summers went off the right side of the road before hitting a culvert. The report said she was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from her car.
Hers was the only vehicle involved.
