Columbia woman injured in Randolph County crash

A Columbia woman lost control of her car on an icy roadway Friday afternoon, causing her to crash into a utility pole, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Troopers responded to the single-vehicle car crash on County Road 2710 near Highway 63 around 3:15 p.m.

The driver, Karen Wall, 52, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. According to the crash report, she wasn’t wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The Randolph County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
