Boone County home total loss after fire
A fire in eastern Boone County destroyed a home Thursday afternoon.
The Boone County Fire Protection District responded to the house at 10761 I-70 Drive Northeast just after 2:45 p.m.
A couple and one child were home at the time of the fire. They made it out safely and are being referred to the Red Cross for assistance.
The scene was still very active at 3:20 p.m. An ABC 17 News crew on the scene saw six fire trucks.
