Student fires Taser on JCPS bus

Jefferson City Public Schools confirms a Taser was discharged on the number 13 school bus Wednesday morning.

No one was hit with the Taser nor was anyone injured, according to JCPS.

The bus driver, who is also an employee of the Missouri Department of Corrections, heard the Taser and contacted police, who confiscated it.

A spokesperson with the school district said JCPS is working with the Jefferson City Police Department to investigate the incident.
