Greitens announces new Director of Missouri Department of Corrections

Eric Greitens announced that Anne Precythe is the new Director of the Department of Corrections for the State of Missouri.

Precythe is from North Carolina, where she started her career as a probation and parole officer. She was known for hiring and leading a team that changed the culture of corrections. Precythe also started a program to support her employees that were experiencing violence at work or at home.

Precythe is George Lombardi’s successor, who has been the center of reports of a culture of harassment and negligence at the Missouri Department of Corrections.
