No injuries after Boone County fire; structure is “total loss”
UPDATE 12/4 10:38 a.m: ABC17 just talked with a spokesperson for the Boone County Fire Department. He said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Boone County Fire officials say a structure is a “total loss” after a fire early Sunday morning.
Crews were called to Wilhite Road, near the Route E intersection north of Columbia, around 12:55 a.m. Sunday morning.
They say the structure was abandoned, so there are no injuries.
About an hour and a half after crews were called, they were still on scene. At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown.
