Cool weekend with light rain
The weekend will start off dry with mostly cloudy skies Saturday. After a cold morning with temperatures in the and cool afternoon temperatures, reaching the mid to upper 40s. Winds will remain light at 3-6 mph, coming in from the east.
Light rain will move in from the southwest, entering the Lake of the Ozarks after 7 PM. Rain will increase and spread to the north and east overnight Saturday, moving out of the area Sunday morning. Rainfall amounts up to a quarter inch are expected.
The air aloft will be just cold enough for snow to mix in with rain or briefly change over to all snow early Sunday morning mainly north of I-70. Snow is not expected to stick to roads since temperatures will be above freezing but we could see some minor accumulation on grassy surfaces.
Temperatures will stay in the upper 40s Sunday afternoon with clouds breaking up and light southeasterly winds.
