TODAY: Areas south of the Missouri River will start off clear with clouds quickly working their way in this morning. Areas north look to have a more overcast sky by 9AM. A westerly breeze this morning is making a wind chill in the 20s through 10AM, before only reaching 35-38 today. It will be partly to mostly cloudy, breezy and much cooler day with high temperatures in the low to mid 40s. Westerly winds at 10-15 mph will gust as high as 25 mph during the day.
TONIGHT: Clouds may start to break this evening. Areas south of the Missouri River will see a partly to mostly clear sky tonight, while areas north look to have more scattered clouds. Westerly winds will become a bit lighter at 6-8 mph. Temperatures tonight will be frigid falling to the low 30s/upper 20s.
EXTENDED: We will stay dry through Friday with daytime highs staying in the low to mid 40s. The weekend stays chilly with a slight rain chance Saturday through Sunday morning mainly south of I-70 with up to .15″ possible. Flurries are not ruled out on Sunday morning before 9AM near I-70. Next week looks like it could be unsettled, especially from Wednesday through Thursday where we’ll be watching a storm system that could bring some winter weather.
