Thursday Evening, November 24
TONIGHT: The clouds will slowly begin to build back into Mid-Missouri this evening, but a cold night is still expected. A low in the mid to upper 30s is expected with winds shifting out of the north after midnight. With the passage of this low, can’t rule out a few sprinkles this evening. Winds will remain light under 8 mph through the evening.
FRIDAY: If you are waking up early for shopping, grab those coats because temperatures will be dropping to the mid 30s throughout the evening into the morning hours. The high temperature for Black Friday will be slightly warmer than Thanksgiving, in the lower 50s. Friday night, temperatures will continue to drop slightly lower than Thanksgiving evening, reaching near 30 degrees.
EXTENDED: The dry, cool weather continues into Saturday with highs in the mid 50s for the start of the weekend and upper 50s Sunday. Another storm system will bring an increasing chance of rain Sunday which will linger into early Monday of next week. It is looking likely for all rain with this next system. Colder air moves in by next Tuesday with highs in the upper 40s. For additional weather updates follow @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter.
