Monday Afternoon, November 21

TODAY: A beautiful day is in the works for Mid-Missouri. Thanks to southeasterly winds, we’ll see a nice warm up this afternoon. The high today is 56 degrees. Conditions will be sunny with winds up to 7 mph out of the southeast. High clouds look to increase later this afternoon and evening.

TONIGHT: Clouds will increase overnight keeping temperatures above normal for late November in the mid 40s. Winds look to be from the south/southeast at 5-10 mph.

EXTENDED: Rain looks to return on Tuesday. Although not a lot of rain is expected, 0.25″ to 0.50″ looks likely for much of the state. Rain looks like it could increase after 9AM and end through 9PM on Tuesday. There is a slight rain chance east of US 63 on Wednesday morning through 7AM. Wednesday afternoon will have temperatures in the lower 50s with breezy and mostly cloudy conditions. Thanksgiving day looks partly cloudy with highs in the mid 50s. On Black Friday it looks to be partly cloudy. We’ll keep an eye on possible rain increasing for next Sunday. For additional weather updates follow @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter.
